A new development in the case of a Yorkton woman, charged in connection with a serious assault in the city.
On April 17, Mounties were called to a home on Bradbrooke Drive, where they found an injured man outside the home, and he was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A woman inside the home was arrested, and police seized an edged weapon.
In Yorkton Provincial Court today (Fri), 26-year-old Sunries Cappo pleaded guilty to two charges, including Aggravated Assault.
She was sentenced to 484 days in jail, followed by 12 months of probation.
