
The Swan Valley Stampeders are pleased to announce that graduating captain Landen Gulutzan has committed to the University of Regina Cougars for the 2025–26 U SPORTS season.
Gulutzan, a 20-year-old from Calgary, Alberta spent the past three seasons with the Swan Valley Stampeders of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), where he served as team captain.
In the 2024–25 season, he led the Stampeders with 65 points (22 goals, 43 assists) over 57 games, marking a career-high and placing him sixth in league scoring . His standout performances earned him multiple MJHL Star of the Week honors, including a notable six-point weekend in February.
Beyond his on-ice achievements, Gulutzan has been recognized for his commitment to community service. He was named the Swan Valley Stampeders’ RBC Community Ambassador for the 2024–25 season, an honor bestowed upon players who demonstrate exceptional citizenship and volunteerism.
