The Melville Millionaires of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League have announced the hiring of Kali Dumesnil as their new Athletic Therapist.
Dumesnil who hails from La Broquerie, Manitoba, graduated from the University of Manitoba’s Athletic Therapy program in the spring of 2024 and became a certified Athletic Therapist in June of the same year.
Since earning her certification, Kali has gained valuable experience working with a range of teams.
She served as the Athletic Therapist for the Winnipeg Wild Red U15 AAA hockey team, traveled with RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg teams in a contract role, and spent last summer working with the Winnipeg Blizzard Junior B lacrosse team.
With Dumesnil’s addition, the Millionaires aim to bolster their commitment to player health and performance. Her expertise is expected to be instrumental as the team builds upon its recent successes and continues to develop young talent within the league.
