This afternoon, the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency provided an update on the wildfires burning across the province.
As of 1:30 p.m. today, there are 16 active wildfires, six of which remain uncontained. So far in 2025, the total number of wildfires has risen to 219.
Province-wide, 163 structures have been lost to the fires, and more than 8,000 people have been forced to evacuate.
