Sentencing has been handed down to an Easterville man who admitted his guilt in the death of a man from The Pas.
In April, 34-year-old Pierre Young pleaded guilty to Manslaughter, in connection with a fatal stabbing on January 16, 2024, at a home on Edwards Avenue in The Pas.
41-year-old Eugene Michelle died of injuries sustained in the incident.
On Monday in The Pas Court of King’s Bench, Young was sentenced to 2,169 days in prison going forward, a lifetime firearm ban, and he must provide a DNA sample.
