The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce hosted a luncheon on June 3 at the Painted Hand Casino, where Regina International Airport President and CEO James Bogusz delivered an update on the airport’s recent progress and its impact on southern Saskatchewan.
Bogusz highlighted the airport’s rising national ranking—it is now the 15th busiest in Canada—and emphasized new international connectivity, including daily non-stop flights to Denver launched in mid-May. He noted the route opens access to over 170 United Airlines connections through one of the world’s busiest hubs.
The event gave Yorkton’s business community insight into growing travel options, stable passenger volumes, and infrastructure improvements at the Regina airport.
Bogusz stressed the airport’s commitment to serving Yorkton and welcomed continued engagement with local stakeholders.
