The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency has released an update on the province’s wildfire situation.
As of today, there are 25 active wildfires burning across Saskatchewan, bringing the 2025 total to 256—well above the five-year average of 145. Six of the fires remain uncontained.
So far, 33 communities have been ordered to evacuate, with assistance from the Canadian Red Cross helping more than 10,000 people safely relocate.
Club fire near Creighton has burned 34,000 hectares.
To date, 295 structures have been lost or damaged due to the fires.
