Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP are actively searching for 29-year-old Linnea Matonie and her eight-year-old daughter, Zendaya Sheepskine-Matonie, who were reported missing on June 10. The pair were last seen walking together on Pasqua First Nation at approximately 11:45 a.m. that morning.
Efforts to locate them have so far been unsuccessful. Police have checked several areas the two are known to visit and have followed up on tips, but are now turning to the public for help to confirm their well-being.
Linnea Matonie is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds. She has medium-length brown hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing knee-length shorts, a plaid button-up shirt, and carrying a backpack. Her daughter, Zendaya, is described as 4 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds, with medium-length brown hair and brown eyes. She was also last seen carrying a backpack.
RCMP say Linnea and Zendaya are known to travel to George Gordon First Nation, Pasqua First Nation, and Regina. Anyone who has seen them or has information on their whereabouts is urged to contact Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP or their local police detachment immediately.
