The case of a Regina man charged in connection with a September robbery in McLean, will go to trial.
53-year-old Shahn Hunter appeared Tuesday in Indian Head Provincial Court, but instead of the scheduled preliminary hearing, he was remanded in custody, and committed to stand trial in Regina Court of King’s Bench at a later date.
On September 28, Indian Head RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business on Main Street in McLean, where they say a lone man, armed with an edged weapon, allegedly entered the business, and stole money from the cash register, before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
File Hills Police Service members helping in the investigation located the vehicle, and arrested the driver.
