Riders are 4.5-point favourites, so Luc is taking the Riders, and going with the under on the 46-point over/under.
Dave and Luc bring up a good point about the Argos — with eight players out and eight players in, it could be an easy game for the Riders to think is going to be a walkover, a trap game of sorts. But as Roughriders opponents found out during their run last season, if the new guys step up, all sorts of interesting things can happen…
The Argonauts depth chart. Nick Arbuckle gets the start at quarterback for the third straight game as Chad Kelly continues to recover from his leg injury. Damonte Coxie has been Arbuckle's favourite target with 197 yards receiving on 18 targets, while fellow wide receiver David Ungerer III has 137 yards receiving in the same span. The Argos haven't had a lot of luck running the ball, with Miyan Williams leading the team with 65 yards in two games.
The Roughriders' depth chart. A lot of the talk leading up to the game is at running back, where Thomas Bertrand-Hudon is in as A.J. Ouellette's back-up after recovering from a groin injury. Former Argo Ka'Deem Carey was expected to start against the team that cut him in the pre-season, but the Riders opted to go with Thomas the Train instead. Joe Robustelli gets the start at wide receiver in place of Samuel Emilus, who is on the one-game injury list with a foot injury.

The Roughriders are off to a perfect start to the 2025 season, sitting at 2-0 after taking wins over Ottawa and Hamilton to open the season. The reigning Grey Cup champion Argonauts are off to a tough start in defence of their championship and are 0-2 after falling to Calgary and Montreal.
It’s expected to be another beautiful day for football, albeit a touch breezy, with the temperature expected to be 22 C with winds from the west at 14 km/h.
Kick-off is 5:30 p.m. and you can catch all the action on Riders Radio Broadcast Network.
