An attempted vehicle theft turned into a stabbing incident in the R-M of Mountain.
Swan River RCMP say they were called to the scene at about 6 o’clock Saturday morning.
A homeowner confronted a man trying to steal his vehicle, was stabbed in a scuffle, and the suspect fled on foot.
The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury.
34-year-old Clinton Duck of Winnipeg was later arrested near Bellsite, and faces numerous charges.
