We’ve had an unexpected but adorable new visitor in our yard lately—a little rabbit who seems to have decided our place is the perfect spot to hang out! For the past few days, we’ve spotted him just chilling in the mulch, looking completely relaxed and unbothered by the world around him. He doesn’t seem to mind people passing by at all—he just sits there, taking it all in as if he owns the place.
Meanwhile, Barkley (our dog) is still trying to figure out what to make of this new neighbor. He’s been keeping a close eye on the rabbit from his favorite spot by the window, occasionally letting out a bark to remind our furry visitor that he’s being watched. It’s been pretty entertaining to see this new dynamic unfold—Barkley doing his best “yard supervisor” impression while our calm little bunny friend just lounges in the sun, totally at ease.
Anyone else ever have a surprise animal guest take up residence in their yard?
