Carlyle RCMP are searching for a 21-year-old man following a serious assault that took place over the weekend on White Bear First Nation.
On Saturday, officers responded to a report of an injured man who had arrived at a home in the community seeking help. Investigators believe he was the victim of a violent assault.
The man was transported to hospital with serious injuries. His current condition has not been released.
As a result of the investigation, police have charged Darias Obey of White Bear First Nation with one count of aggravated assault.
Obey is described as 6’4” tall, weighing 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees him is advised not to approach, but to contact Carlyle RCMP at 310-RCMP or leave an anonymous tip with Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
