A 17-year-old male was arrested over the weekend on Crane River First Nation.
At approximately 11:00 p.m. on July 5, Ste Rose RCMP attempted a traffic stop on Road 481 in Crane River. Officers tried to pull over an unregistered pickup truck, which did not stop immediately and instead turned into a driveway.
A search of the driver revealed several individually packaged substances believed to be marijuana and crack cocaine, as well as an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency.

The youth, who cannot be named due to his age, has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He has been released pending a future court date.
