Two individuals from Souris, Manitoba have been charged after RCMP seized cocaine, methamphetamine, and cash during a June 24 traffic stop on Highway 1 near Virden.
The arrests followed a drug trafficking investigation launched by the Manitoba Integrated Law Enforcement Team (MILET) in April.
Police say 250 grams of cocaine , 500 grams of meth , and Canadian currency were found in the vehicle.
33 year old Shaun Dalke and Karlan Maginel face charges for possession for the purpose of trafficking both substances. Dalke also faces a charge of possession of property obtained by crime.
Both were released for a future court date.
