A Winnipeg man arrested following an attempted vehicle theft that led to a stabbing incident in the R.M. of Mountain, has a new court date.
Swan River RCMP say they were called to the scene at about 6 a.m. on June 21.
A homeowner confronted a man trying to steal his vehicle, was stabbed in a scuffle, and the suspect fled on foot.
The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury.
34-year-old Clinton Duck was later arrested near Bellsite, and he will be back in Winnipeg Provincial Court July 25, on numerous charges.
