A new court date has been set for a Hudson Bay man, arrested in connection with a firearm trafficking investigation.
57-year-old Steven Bondy remains in custody after appearing in Nipawin Provincial Court Wednesday, and he’ll make his next appearance July 24 in Melfort.
In March of last year, RCMP raided a home in the Hudson Bay area, and seized forty rifles, two handguns, about twenty more firearms in various states of disassemble, and more than ten-thousand rounds of ammunition.
They also confiscated illegal cigarettes, mint coins and gold jewelry believed to be stolen, and small amounts of cocaine and crystal meth.
