The subject of a dangerous person alert issued for the Muskowekwan First Nation and surrounding area is in custody.
Saskatchewan RCMP say the alert was cancelled after 28-year-old Elijah Albert was arrested in a rural area near Lestock.
The investigation continues, and Mounties urge anyone with information related to the incident should call 310-RCMP (7267).

Saskatchewan RCMP have issued a dangerous person alert in and around the Muskowekwan First Nation, in relation to a person with a firearm in the area.
Police say 28-year-old Elijah Albert is armed with a rifle, and was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue jeans and a dark backpack.
He was last seen heading into the bush around the Muskowekwan First Nation, possibly on foot, or riding a quad.

If you are in that area, Mounties advise residents to avoid picking up hitchhikers, find shelter, lock all windows and doors, and remain in a secure location.
