The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce has announced that Harvest Meats will serve as the Platinum Sponsor of its 26th Annual Chamber Business Dinner, scheduled for Oct. 8 at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Cultural Centre.
Geoffrey Propp, president and general manager of Harvest Meats, also confirmed the event’s guest speaker will be Jennifer Barroll, a global leadership consultant recognized for her work in leadership development and team performance.
Barroll’s presentations are known for blending personal storytelling, humour and research-backed insights. She has been named one of Avenue magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” and is a recipient of Branded Magazine’s Game Changer Award. Her debut book, Make Work Not Suck: A Conscious Leader’s Guide for Building Teams That Thrive, is set to be released in fall 2025.
“Harvest Meats has been part of the Yorkton business community for nearly 100 years,” said Propp. “Our small-town roots and community-minded approach laid the foundation for the company Harvest has grown to be, and we could not be more proud to call Yorkton home.”
Juanita Polegi, executive director of the Yorkton Chamber, said Harvest Meats has been a long-standing supporter of the Chamber and a key sponsor of past business dinners.
“Harvest Meats is demonstrating the value it places on this dinner for the business community,” said Polegi. “Jennifer Barroll, as guest speaker, will be entertaining and informative. I believe both employers and employees will learn from her presentation.”
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities for the annual dinner are now available.
The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce represents more than 400 businesses and achieved national accreditation in 2018 through the Chamber Accreditation Council of Canada.
