A new court date has been set for a man arrested in connection with an attempted vehicle theft, that led to a stabbing incident in the R.M. of Mountain.
On June 21, Swan River RCMP arrested 34-year-old Clinton Duck of Winnipeg, near Bellsite, on numerous charges.
Mounties say they were called to the scene, after a homeowner confronted a man trying to steal his vehicle, was stabbed in a scuffle, and the suspect fled on foot.
The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury.
Duck remains in custody, and will be in Swan River Provincial Court on October 1.
