What an incredible evening we had at Perry & Donna Erhardt’s farm south of Esterhazy for Week 3 of GX94 Supper In The Field! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it was a true pleasure to spend time with such wonderful hosts. We were treated to a mouthwatering meal from the Chalet Restaurant and Lounge, and the company made it even more enjoyable.
But the highlight of the night had to be dessert—Donna wowed us all with a couple of her famous homemade pies. As soon as she brought them out, everyone insisted, “You have to have some of Donna’s pie, she’s the best cook around!” And let me tell you, they weren’t exaggerating—her apple pie and saskatoon pie were absolutely out of this world!
We shared plenty of laughs, great conversation, and left with full hearts and satisfied appetites. With three more weeks left in the fall GX94 Supper In The Field, I can’t wait to see which farm we’ll get to visit next.
