A Shoal Lake, Manitoba man wanted on outstanding warrants out of Alberta and Saskatchewan, has been arrested by Manitoba Mounties.
On Sept. 2, Mounties were called to the R.M. of Yellowhead, to locate a man who was unlawfully at large in the area.
42-year-old Scott Purdy was wanted on numerous charges including assaulting a police officer, assault with a weapon, and forcible confinement.
He was arrested without incident Sept. 3 on his property in Shoal Lake, where a search led to the seizure of a suspected stolen camper and a firearm.
Purdy remains in custody, and being sent back to Alberta by RCMP there, while police in Manitoba continue to investigate.
