We had an absolutely fantastic evening out in the field with our week 4 winners, Aaron & Carla Chernoff and their crew near Veregin, for GX94 Supper In The Field! It truly couldn’t have been a more perfect night—after a hot fall day, the Chernoffs were busy combining, taking off the last of their wheat crop, with just a bit of oats and their canola left to harvest.
Despite their busy schedule, Aaron and crew jumped off the combines long enough to enjoy a delicious supper with us and collect their well-deserved prizes. After a quick bite, they were right back to work, showing us just how dedicated our local farmers are. Aaron was even kind enough to let me hop in for a quick ride.
