Another court appearance has been made for a Calder man, arrested in connection with a death in that area.
In June of 2023, Mounties were called to a home in the Calder district, to conduct a wellness check on 61-year-old Bentley Bauming, and he was found dead.
The next day, 50-year-old Curtis Sokoloski was arrested in Russell, and charged with second degree murder, and committing an indignity to a human body.
Sokoloski had his matters heard in Yorkton Court of King’s Bench on Friday, where they were adjourned to his two-week trial, which starts on November 3.
