A new court date has been set for a Yorkton man, arrested following a traffic stop near Carlyle.
On March 6, RCMP officers spotted a speeding vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, conducting roadside sobriety tests that indicated the driver had allegedly consumed both cannabis and cocaine before getting behind the wheel.
Upon searching the vehicle, Mounties found a loaded handgun, 133 grams of crack cocaine, 23 grams of cannabis, multiple pocket knives, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
26-year-old Austin Ross faces over 20 charges, including assaulting a police officer.
