YORKTON — Career Explorations is coming back to Yorkton after a two-year hiatus.
The event, hosted in partnership by Suncrest College, Good Spirit School Division and Christ the Teacher Catholic School Division, offers students and community members an opportunity to explore careers, training programs and education pathways.
Career Explorations will take place at the Gallagher Centre on Oct. 7. The morning session will welcome over 1,600 high school students, while the afternoon is open to the public from noon to 2 p.m.
The event features 70-plus employers and education exhibitors, along with interactive presentations and hands-on activities, giving attendees a chance to learn about a wide range of careers and post-secondary options. This year’s event is accessible to all and made possible thanks to sponsors, including CN Railway as the title sponsor.
“Career Explorations is a fantastic opportunity for students and community members to connect with employers and educational institutions in one place. We’re excited to bring the event back and help people discover what’s possible for their future,” said Jenna Niebergall, Suncrest College’s manager of marketing and public relations.
