DAUPHIN — A chaotic night at a Dauphin bar has led to multiple arrests and a series of drug and weapon charges.
RCMP said officers were called around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 26 to a report of unruly patrons who were damaging property and threatening customers with bear spray.
Police said the suspects fled the scene but were later located at another hotel. Three people were taken into custody.
During the arrests, officers spotted cocaine and methamphetamine in the hotel room. A search warrant led to the seizure of drugs, cash, knives and other drug paraphernalia.
Two women have been charged. Twenty-year-old Deena Mintuck of Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation faces seven charges including trafficking, uttering threats and assault with a weapon. Twenty-one-year-old Melony Allarie of Roblin faces a similar list of charges.
A 23-year-old man from Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation was released on an undertaking and will appear in Dauphin provincial court at a later date.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
