It’s prison time for one of two Swan River men, arrested in connection with a death in the community.
30-year-old Dean Bell pleaded guilty to manslaughter, and in Swan River Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), he was sentenced to seven years behind bars, less the time he’s already served in custody.
An arrest warrant remains in effect for his co-accused, 41-year-old Tyrone Guiboche (Gih-BOSH).
In January of last year, Mounties were called to a report of a stabbing on Main Street in Swan River.
They found a 33-year-old man, who later died in hospital.
