The Melville Millionaires headline this week’s Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League award winners, with captain Boston Harkness and rookie goaltender Noah Sinagowitz both earning league honours.
Harkness was named SuperU Defenceman of the Week after posting six points in three games and continuing his strong two-way play for the Mils. Between the pipes, Sinagowitz claimed SaskMilk Rookie of the Week, backstopping Melville to wins over Flin Flon and Yorkton while recording a .936 save percentage.
Elsewhere around the league, Humboldt’s Jacob Strizzi earned SGEU MVP of the Week with five goals and an assist — his third hat trick of the season — while teammate Charlie Tritt took SaskTel Goalie of the Week honours with two wins, a shutout, and a .961 save percentage.
Melfort’s Zayden Sadlemyer captured Bourgault Forward of the Week after a five-point performance, and Nipawin’s Konnor Watson rounded out the list as the Canterra Seeds Saskatchewan Player of the Week with four goals and two assists, including a power-play hat trick.
