YORKTON – A Yorkton man has been charged with second-degree murder after a suspicious death in the city earlier this month.
Yorkton RCMP were called around 3:10 p.m. on October 7 after receiving a report of a deceased man outside a home on Victoria Avenue.
The victim has been identified as 51-year-old Curtis Gilman Bourassa of Winnipeg.
Following several days of investigation, officers arrested 51-year-old Henry Wayne Chartrand of Yorkton on October 11 and charged him with one count of second-degree murder
Chartrand appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on October 14.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
