YORKTON TERRIERS 2, NIPAWIN HAWKS 1 (OT)
Thomas Ries scored the game winner just 59 seconds into overtime to lead the Yorkton Terriers to their second straight win on Tuesday night, defeating the Nipawin Hawks 2-1.
The Terriers opened the scoring in the first as Jye Zawatsky netted his fifth goal of the season, before Mason Karakochuk tied things 1-1 just under three minutes into the second period.
After a scoreless third period, Ries then added the heroics for the Terriers who earned their 7th win of the season.
Callum Creig was once again very good in his second straight making 38 saves in the win, while Hawks netminder Gage Roberts stopped 38 shots in the overtime loss.
The Terriers will return to action on Friday night hosting the Battlefords North Stars at the Westland Arena, their final home game for three weeks, while the Hawks entertain the Melville Millionaires on Friday, looking to snap their two game losing streak.

KINDERSLEY KLIPPERS 3, WARMAN WOLVERINES 2 (SO)
In their annual School kids game, the Kindersley Klippers came out victorious in front of a full-house of school kids at the Inter Pipeline Arena on Tuesday afternoon.
Brett O’Halloran stole show stopping 56 of 58 shots in the Klippers, and then stopped all three shooters in the shootout to help the home-side to a 3-2 victory over the Warman Wolverines.
Brock Evans scored both goals in regulation for the Klippers, and then scored the shootout win, while Kane Kennedy had both markers for the Wolverines, who got 36 saves from Griffin Wright in the loss.
