It’s prison time for a Dauphin man, who admitted to a number of weapon charges.
On April 6, Dauphin RCMP spotted a man on Main Street in Dauphin, who was wanted on an arrest warrant.
While fleeing from police on foot, the suspect threw a handgun onto the roof of a building.
He was eventually arrested, and the gun was recovered.
21-year-old Jayden Peters was sentenced to 1508 days in prison yesterday (Mon), in Dauphin Provincial Court.
