A new development in the case of a Fishing Lake First Nation man, arrested on firearm and driving offences.
39-year-old Nathan Kayseas was in Wadena Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), where he pleaded guilty to a number of charges, and was sentenced to 645 days in jail, a one year driving ban, and a lifetime firearms ban.
On August 8, Wadena RCMP received multiple reports of a potential impaired driver near the beach on Fishing Lake First Nation.
When Kayseas was finally arrested, police seized two firearms, one of which was loaded, and several hundred rounds of ammunition.
