A Binscarth woman is in custody awaiting a court date, after being charged in connection with the death of a woman in the community.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on Nov. 3, Russell RCMP were called to a report of an unresponsive female at a Binscarth home, where they found a badly-injured 53-year-old woman, who died at the scene.
Mounties determined the two women knew each other, and that an argument got out of hand, leading to the victim being stabbed.
53-year-old Sheila Mills is charged with manslaughter.
