BINSCARTH – A Binscarth woman is in custody awaiting a court date, after being charged in connection with the death of a woman in the community.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on Nov. 3, Russell RCMP were called to a report of an unresponsive female at a Binscarth home, where they found a badly-injured 53-year-old woman, who died at the scene.
Mounties determined the two women knew each other, and that an argument got out of hand, leading to the victim being stabbed.
Sheila Mills, 53, is charged with manslaughter.
