CANORA – After qualifying at conference playoffs, the Canora Composite School junior boys volleyball team headed up to Preeceville for districts on Nov. 1.
Unfortunately the Cougars were winless and placed fourth in their pool, according to Coach Josie Short.
“We were missing a couple of kids for the weekend, but the boys played well,” said Short. “We were able to compete against some well-rounded teams.”
Short said the Cougars have enjoyed a successful and rewarding season.
“Our season saw tremendous growth with our team. They have grown as players and improved so much.”
