PREECEVILLE — The Etoimamie club held its annual trail ride/award night on Oct. 19 at the farm of Tom and Shirley Babchishin. It was a lovely day for a ride. We had two full wagons, which were driven by Lloyd Smith, and Ray Rosenkerr had his team, which was driven by Mason Bilan. We had roughly 30 riders on the ride.
Our club only held six play days this year in Sturgis. It seemed to be hard to coordinate with everyone this year, or the weather was a factor. We also ran the Sturgis Sports Days and Preeceville Western Days Gymkhana events.
I would like to thank everyone who helped at Sturgis and Preeceville, and our announcer, Amanda Kowalchuk, for announcing both weekends. We couldn’t have done it without our volunteers.
