Christmas Kettles can be found in the Parkland Mall at Canadian Tire, and outside Mano’s Restaurant, with tap machines also at Save On Foods, Walmart and Superstore.
Volunteers to work at the kettles are welcomed, and you can volunteer by calling Major Laurie Reilly at 306-316-4475.
This year’s fundraising goal is $125-thousand, to put together Christmas hampers, and to support the food bank throughout the year, along with a new community response vehicle.
So far, Major Reilly says over three-hundred Christmas hampers have been assembled, with more to come.
The deadline to register for a Christmas hamper is Nov. 27, but if you miss the deadline, those in need will receive a regular hamper on the distribution day.
