Dauphin RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding those responsible for a series of break-ins in the city.
Around 9 a.m. Tuesday, Mounties were called to a storage facility on Whitmore Avenue on a report that three Polaris snowmobiles had been stolen from a storage unit, and later that day, another call came in that two utility trailers parked at the facility had gone missing.

Police say the thefts happened sometime between 6 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. on Tuesday, noting that it’s believed that eight storage units in all were broken into, and a complete list of stolen items is still being put together.
The missing snowmobiles and trailers have yet to turn up, and anyone with tips related to this case are asked to call the Dauphin RCMP, at 204-622-5020.
