EBB AND FLOW FIRST NATION – A drug investigation led to three arrests after Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Highway 278 in Ebb and Flow First Nation on November 25.
Mounties say officers entered the residence around 6:30 p.m. and seized about eight grams of methamphetamine, about nine grams of cocaine, a shotgun, 10 cellphones, drug paraphernalia and Canadian cash.
A 42-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman, both from the community, were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, unsafe storage of firearms, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon knowing the possession was unauthorized, and possession of property obtained by crime not exceeding $5,000.
A 14-year-old boy from Ebb and Flow First Nation was also arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Police say all individuals were released on an undertaking as the investigation continues.
