Sentencing has been handed down to a Keeseekoose First Nation man, arrested in connection with a fatal vehicle/pedestrian collision on The Key First Nation.
In Kamsack Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), 63-year-old Kenward Strongquill pleaded guilty to five charges, including dangerous driving causing death.
He was sentenced to 2958 days in prison, and he also received a lifetime driving prohibition and a lifetime firearm ban.
In August of 2024, Kamsack RCMP received a report of a collision involving four pedestrians.
A girl under the age of 12 was killed, while two other girls were seriously injured, and a man was only slightly hurt.
