The Melville Millionaires picked up a point but came up just short in the finale of their three-game road trip, falling 2–1 in overtime to the Battlefords North Stars.
Boston Harkness gave the Mils a 1–0 lead late in the first period, but Anthony Campbell pulled the North Stars even with a second-period marker. Just 90 seconds into overtime, Finlay Klippenstein ended it for Battlefords.
Kaeden Serpa was sharp in the North Stars’ net, stopping 34 of 35 shots for the win, while Melville’s Noah Sinagowitz turned aside 28 of 30 in the OT loss.
Elsewhere around the SJHL:
Rylan Williams had a five-point night—four goals and an assist—as the Estevan Bruins earned another big home win, 5–3 over the Humboldt Broncos. Nathan Kam backed the victory with 40 saves, pulling the Bruins within a point of the Viterra Division lead.
The Melfort Mustangs spread out the offence, getting goals from six different skaters in a 6–2 home-ice win over the Warman Wolverines.
At the Whitney Forum, the Flin Flon Bombers stayed perfect on home ice, improving to 11–0 with a 4–1 win over the Kindersley Klippers. Joey Lies, Sam Ward, Keaton Lesperance, and Landon Alexander found the back of the net.
In La Ronge, Graham Brown stopped 38 shots and Jacob Morrison netted the game-winner early in the third to lift the Ice Wolves to a 2–1 victory over the Weyburn Red Wings.
