YORKTON – The Yorkton Terriers hit the Westland Insurance Arena ice Sunday for a rare afternoon encounter in the SJHL.

At 5:37 of the second period Jake Briltz made it 2-0 with his first goal of the season.
Bexson Fox finally put the Wolverines on the board with a goal at 12:17 to draw his team within one at 2-1.
Then 42-seconds later Thomas Ties made it 3-1 Yorkton.
It was just 4:59 into the third period when William Leonard potted one to make it 4-1 Terriers.
Owen Roberts scored his first of the season at 15:25 to make it a 5-1 contest.
And then with only 23-seconds left on the clock Gabriel Courchesne made it a 6-1 contest with a powerplay effort.
Griffin Wright was in the Wolverine net facing 40-shots before being lifted with 15:01 remaining. He had allowed four goals before being relieved by Taye Timmerman who allowed two goals on 12 shots in the loss.
Callum Creig faced 27-shots in the win for Yorkton.
