The SJHL is recognizing its top performers from November, and a pair of Yorkton Terriers lead the way.
Gabriel Courchesne was electric in the second half of the month, contributing to nearly half of Yorkton’s 20 goals in the final four games, finishing with 14 points in eight games. Hometown product and teammate Jye Zawatsky has also been red-hot, scoring 13 points in eight games and riding a five-game point streak.
Elsewhere in the league, Estevan’s Rylan Williams takes home MVP of the Month honors with 17 points in 10 games, while teammate and rookie Cash Olson had 10 points of his own.
On defense, Flin Flon’s Sam Ward dominated with 12 points in 11 games, and in net, Nipawin Hawks’ Gage Roberts won six straight games to close out November to take goalie of the month.
