A man charged in connection with a death on the Piapot First Nation, is off the hook.
Southey RCMP discovered the body of 30-year-old Melanie Asham-Obey of the Pasqua First Nation, at a Piapot home on Jan. 2.
40-year-old Robin Kaiswatum was arrested two days later, and charged with second degree murder.
However, in Regina Provincial Court last week, the charge against him was stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.
