YORKTON — Skate Yorkton will have a special guest at its annual ice show next year.
In a post on its Facebook page, Skate Yorkton revealed Olympic medallist Kaetlyn Osmond will be the guest skater at the event on March 29, 2026. She will also be hosting a special seminar for the organization's skaters and regional athletes, which Skate Yorkton said is an “incredible” opportunity to learn from one of Canada’s most decorated champions.
Osmond is a three-time national champion and a three-time Olympic medallist. She won silver in the team competition at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and gold in the team event and bronze in the individual competition at the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
She has also won a gold and a silver at the world championships.
“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Kaetlyn to our ice show and our community,” Skate Yorkton said on Facebook.
