A new development in the case of two people, arrested in connection with a truck stolen from the Wadena area.
36-year-old Calvin Paquachan of the Yellow Quill First Nation failed to appear in Wadena Provincial Court yesterday (Thu), so a warrant was issued for his arrest.
His co-accused, 23-year-old Kaylin Nashacappo, had her matters adjourned to Dec. 18.
On Nov. 5, Wadena RCMP received a report that a truck was stolen from south of Wadena.
The truck ran out of fuel, and after police arrested the two suspects, they seized a firearm and what was suspected to be drugs.
