SASKATCHEWAN — Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe sees his popularity climb three points
The quarterly premier’s poll has been released, and Manitoba’s premier remains the most popular.
The poll by Angus Reid shows Wab Kinew’s support has slipped three points, but he still leads the country with 58 per cent support in Manitoba.
Next is Susan Holt in New Brunswick, who saw her support climb four points to 56 per cent. Premier Scott Moe is third, seeing his popularity in Saskatchewan climb three points to 53 per cent. Tim Houston in Nova Scotia has 50 per cent support, followed by Danielle Smith at 44 per cent, a drop of two points. Newfoundland’s new premier Tony Wakeham, who was sworn in at the end of October, is at 41 per cent.
B.C.’s David Eby is next at 40 per cent support in his province, followed by Ontario’s Doug Ford at 37 per cent. François Legault in Quebec is at the bottom of the list with 25 per cent support, though that is an increase of three points.
If you are wondering where P.E.I. is on the list, Angus Reid provided this explanation:
“Because its small population precludes drawing discrete samples over multiple waves, data on Prince Edward Island is not released.“
