YORKTON -— Yorkton Council unveiled the city’s 2025 Civic Recognition Award recipients at its regular meeting Monday.
From the nominations received the award recipients are:
* Youth Category: Danica Keyowski
* Adult Category: Tom Weir
* Group Category Recipient: Lion’s Club
Jessica Matsalla – City Clerk with the city noted; “2025 marks the seventh annual Civic Recognition Awards (CRA’s). The awards recognize recipients who have given selfless support, and made contributions for the betterment of the City of Yorkton.”
The Award Recipients for 2025 will be formally celebrated and given their awards at a ceremony prior to the Jan. 26, 2026 Council meeting.
The Yorkton Legacy Co-op has again agreed to sponsor these awards, and has donated $100 gift cards that are given to each recipient at the time of the award.
