A new court date has been set for a teenage boy, arrested in connection with a serious assault on the Keeseekoose First Nation.
Kamsack RCMP say they were called to the reserve Oct. 26, and they located an adult female, who had to be taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
The youth, who can’t be named, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and assault with a weapon.
He was in Kamsack Provincial Court yesterday (Tue), where he was remanded in custody to Jan. 13.
